1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Gridtrove platform, including gridtrove.com and all associated services (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Products, Descriptions, and Pricing

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, certifications, and images are accurate. However, minor variations may occur between product listings and actual products. Product availability is subject to change without notice.

All prices are displayed in the currency of your selected market. Prices may change at any time before your order is confirmed. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an item is listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before fulfilling the order.

System sizing estimates provided by the Solar Wizard are preliminary and for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for a professional site assessment and engineered system design. Equipment recommendations do not constitute professional engineering advice.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.

You are responsible for verifying that the products you order are suitable for your intended use and comply with local electrical codes and regulations.

5. Payment

We accept major payment methods as displayed at checkout. Cryptocurrency payments are accepted at the exchange rate quoted at the time of checkout and are subject to network confirmation times. Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched.

For financing applications, additional terms provided at the time of application apply. Approval is subject to eligibility review.

We use PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

6. Shipping and Delivery

• Estimated delivery timescales are indicative and not guaranteed. We are not liable for carrier delays beyond our reasonable control.
• Risk of loss and title transfer to you upon handover to the carrier.
• It is your responsibility to inspect goods upon delivery and report visible damage to the carrier and to us within 48 hours.
• Shipping to certain remote areas, islands, or restricted jurisdictions may not be available or may incur additional charges.

7. Returns and Refunds

You may return most unused, unopened products within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, minus original shipping costs. To initiate a return, contact [email protected].

• Products must be in original, undamaged packaging with all accessories.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
• Custom-configured or special-order items are non-returnable.
• Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned goods in acceptable condition.

Products covered by manufacturer warranties should be claimed directly with the manufacturer or through us at your option. Warranty coverage, duration, and claim procedures are as specified on each product page.

8. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You may not share your account with third parties or use the Platform for resale without our prior written consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data you are not authorised to access
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
• Use the Platform to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Platform
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, product images, software, data compilations, and trademarks — is the property of Gridtrove or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written permission.

Product names, brand names, and certification marks displayed on the Platform are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (such as payment processors, shipping carriers, or installer partners). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Equipment suitability for your specific installation must be confirmed by a qualified electrician or licensed solar installer.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gridtrove and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any products purchased through it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gridtrove and its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent ongoing harm.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 10 (Intellectual Property), 12–15.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect and by posting a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
